with church or chapel ceremony or graveside
service includes but is not limited to 24 hour attention of a licensed
funeral director, administrative and professional staff for coordinating
and directing the ceremony; obtaining required legal documents and other
paperwork necessary in order to complete the arrangements, notification to
local newspapers, ministers, musicians, cemeteries, and others involved in
the ceremony. Removal vehicle
and driver to transfer the deceased from place of death (within 25 mile
radius of the funeral home), embalming and other sanitary care of the
deceased by a professional embalmer and assistants including dressing,
cosmetics, and casketing, use of complete funeral home facilities for
visitation, delivery of chairs, register stand, and door spray to
residence, use of chapel for ceremony or transfer of casket and flowers to
other facility, direction of ceremony and transfer to cemetery for
concluding ceremony, tent for graveside ceremony; automotive equipment
includes lead vehicle, funeral coach, one limousine, and service vehicle.
Also includes personalized memorial register book, 100
thermographed acknowledgement cards, and standard memorial folders.
Includes post-service contact by staff member to assist with filing
insurance or other benefits. Does
not include merchandise selected such as casket, outer burial container,
cemetery fees, taxes or cash advance items.
